What is Fix Vise?
Fix Vise is a premium on-site device repair service serving the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Our certified technicians come directly to your home, office, or any location in DFW to repair your devices on the spot.
What areas do you serve?
We provide on-site service across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, generally within a 50-mile radius of our Saginaw, TX shop (ZIP 76131). Travel fees are based on distance — see the schedule below. We cover major cities including Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Arlington, Irving, Frisco, McKinney, and Denton.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST (closed Sunday). Emergency and after-hours appointments (outside 8 AM – 6 PM CST, Mon–Sat) may be available on request and are subject to a 50% travel-fee surcharge.
How do I book a repair?
You can book a repair online through our website by clicking 'Book Now', or by calling us at (979) 766-9228. The process takes less than 2 minutes.
Pricing & Payment
How much does a repair cost?
Our pricing is transparent and varies by device and repair type. Labor starts at $49.99 for phones and $99.99 for laptops. Parts are billed separately based on quality (OEM, Aftermarket Premium, or Aftermarket Standard). Visit our Pricing page for full details.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees, ever. We provide a complete quote before any work begins, including labor, parts, and any travel fees. You only pay what you approve.
Do you charge for travel?
We provide on-site service across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, generally within a 50-mile radius of our Saginaw, TX shop (ZIP 76131). Travel fees are based on distance — see the schedule below. 0 – 5 miles: FREE; 5 – 10 miles: $15; 10 – 20 miles: $20; 20 – 40 miles: $40; 40+ miles: $60. Travel fees are based on distance from our Saginaw shop (ZIP 76131). Your exact fee is calculated when you enter your address. Emergency/after-hours requests add a 50% surcharge.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash. Payment is collected after the repair is completed to your satisfaction.
Repairs & Warranty
What devices do you repair?
We repair cell phones (iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel, and more), laptops (MacBook, Dell, HP, Lenovo), tablets, and we also install security cameras and smart doorbells.
How long does a repair take?
Most repairs are completed in under an hour. Screen replacements typically take 30-45 minutes, battery replacements 20-30 minutes. We complete the repair on-site while you wait.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. All repairs include a 30-day warranty covering replacement parts and the installation labor performed during your service call, extendable up to 1 year when purchased at checkout. If a part we installed fails within the warranty period, we'll replace it — note that travel fees for a return visit are not included (you may also bring your device to our shop at no travel charge).
What if my device can't be repaired?
If we determine your device cannot be repaired, you only pay the diagnostic fee ($19.99). We'll also provide recommendations for replacement options, including certified refurbished devices from our store.
What parts do you use?
We offer three quality options: OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for the highest quality, Aftermarket Premium for great quality at mid-range pricing, and Aftermarket Standard for budget-conscious repairs. You choose what's right for you.
Store & Marketplace
What do you sell in your store?
Our store offers repair parts, accessories (cases, chargers, screen protectors), certified refurbished phones and laptops, and gadgets like earbuds and smartwatches.
What is the Buy/Sell/Trade marketplace?
Our marketplace allows you to buy certified pre-owned devices, sell your old devices, or trade them in for credit. All devices are verified for authenticity and not reported stolen.
How does IMEI verification work?
Before any device is listed on our marketplace, we verify its IMEI/serial number against stolen device databases. This protects buyers from purchasing stolen or blacklisted devices.
Is my payment protected on the marketplace?
Yes. All marketplace transactions use escrow protection. Payment is held until the buyer confirms receipt and satisfaction. This protects both buyers and sellers.
